Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is hiring a Field Sales Consultant in California to generate leads, present solar solutions in-home, and manage the customer journey from first contact to installation. You will build lasting relationships, drive awareness, and close sales while traveling within the local market.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of sales experience, strong communication, and a willingness to work flexible hours. Competitive commissions, robust benefits, and tuition reimbursement accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience.
• Must be 21 years of age; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Intermediate comfort with technology (IPAD/computer) and multiple software applications (CRM is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and assess needs to build relationships.
• Manage the pipeline from prospect to install; follow up on leads and consultations.
• Accurately log outcomes in our CRM and report results.
• Meet minimum sales targets as set by leadership.
