Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to generate leads and present in-home solar products. You will build genuine customer connections, qualify solar as a viable option for homes, and drive installations with a focus on local market growth.

You will travel locally, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and participate in a strong incentive program with competitive base pay and commissions. Compensation ranges are shown for California markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or lead generation experience, in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Intermediate comfort with technology (IPad/computer) and multiple software apps; CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Deliver an industry-leading in-home sales experience through installation and activation.
• Conduct in-home presentations and assess customer needs to build relationships.
• Manage pipeline from prospect to install and follow up with leads.
• Dispositon and report outcomes via CRM tool.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
