Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to generate leads and present solar solutions during in-home visits. You will build genuine connections, qualify prospects, and guide homeowners from contact through installation.

Role requires at least 1 year in sales, a valid driver's license, and comfort with technology. Expect to travel regionally, work flexible hours, and earn strong commissions alongside a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or lead generation experience, in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel within the local market and work flexible hours inc. evenings/weekends.
• Comfort with technology, using an IPAD/computer and multiple software apps (CRM is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customers’ needs.
• Manage the sales pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on leads.
• Dispostion and report outcomes via the CRM tool.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
