Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Field Sales Consultant in California who self-generates leads and delivers in-home presentations on solar products. You’ll build genuine relationships, qualify solar as an energy solution, and move customers from interest to installation.

You’ll travel within the local market, work flexible hours, and join a team that offers strong commissions, tuition reimbursement, and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or lead generation experience.
• 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel locally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with IPAD/computer and software usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading sales experience from initial contact through installation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customer needs to build relationships.
• Handle pipeline from prospect to install by following up with all leads and consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report outcomes via CRM.
• Meet minimum sales targets as set by leadership.
