Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to self-generate leads and present in-home solar products and services.

The role focuses on building genuine connections with potential customers, qualifying solar as a viable energy solution for homes and families, and driving installations. You will develop self-generated sales strategies, manage a pipeline, and work across teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact to post-install.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience; in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Generate own leads and appointments for home solar presentations.
• Deliver in-home sales presentations and qualify customer needs.
• Follow up with leads from initial contact through installation.
• Report outcomes via CRM and manage pipeline.
• Meet or exceed sales targets set by leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of Sunrun products and market options.
