Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Field Sales Consultant to self-generate leads and present in-home solar products to potential customers. You will build human connections, qualify customers, and guide them from first contact to installation across the local market.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales/lead generation, strong communication, and a willingness to travel locally. Expect dynamic field work with competitive commissions and benefits in a fast-growing residential solar company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours (evenings/weekends).
• Intermediate comfort with technology, using tablets/computers and multiple software apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from first contact through installation and after activation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customer knowledge and needs, building relationships.
• Manage pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately report outcomes in the CRM.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
