Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present in-home solar products and services. You will build genuine connections with homeowners, qualify solar as a viable energy solution, and drive installations by guiding customers from first contact to system activation.

The role requires in-house visits, travel within the local market, and a strong customer-facing mindset. Competitive commissions, benefits, and tuition programs support your growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales preferred.
• 21+ years of age with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales leads and appointments for potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading in-home sales experience from contact through installation.
• Conduct in-home presentations to assess knowledge and needs, building long-lasting relationships.
• Manage the sales pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on leads.
