Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present solar products in-home. You will focus on building genuine customer connections, qualify solar as a viable energy solution, and drive the sales process from initial contact to installation.

You will conduct in-home presentations, manage a dynamic pipeline, and report outcomes using our CRM while meeting sales targets. This role involves local travel, flexible hours, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, in-home sales preferred
• Must be 21+, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and pass driving background check
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to address customer needs
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Comfort with technology, IPAD/computer, and multiple software applications (CRM is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments
• Provide an in-home sales experience from initial contact through installation
• Conduct in-home presentations and assess customers’ needs
• Manage pipeline from prospect to install and follow up with leads
• Dispost and report outcomes via CRM
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership
