Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present solar options directly in customers’ homes. You will qualify needs, schedule in-home visits, and guide prospects from initial contact to installation, delivering an industry-leading sales experience.

You will travel within the local market, build relationships, and work flexible hours. Competitive commissions and robust benefits accompany a starting salary aligned with market norms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or lead generation experience.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel within local market.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with technology, including IPAD and multiple software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in‑home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
