Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is hiring a Field Sales Consultant to generate and qualify in-home solar leads, present products, and close opportunities with homeowners. You will travel within the local market to engage customers, build relationships, and guide them through installation readiness.

The role requires 1+ year in sales or lead gen, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. You’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and performance incentives in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in sales and/or lead generation, with in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after-sales.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customers' knowledge and needs to build relationships.
• Manage the pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately report outcomes via the CRM tool.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by sales leadership.
