Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to self-generate leads and deliver in-home solar presentations to potential customers.

The role focuses on building genuine relationships, qualifying solar as a viable energy solution, and driving the sales pipeline from prospect to installation. You will travel within your local market, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and participate in a commission-heavy compensation plan with performance incentives and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in sales or lead generation, in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+, valid driver's license, clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to address customer needs.
• Willing to travel within local market and work flexible hours.
• Comfort with technology, IPAD/computer; CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
