Job summary

Sunrun Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present in-home solar products. You will connect with customers face-to-face, qualify needs, and guide them from initial contact to installation.

Travel within the local market and flexible hours are required. The role emphasizes building relationships, meeting sales targets, and leveraging CRM tools to track progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and pass a driving background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with technology and multiple software applications; CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and activation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customers’ needs to build lasting relationships.
• Handle pipeline from prospect to install by following up with leads and in-home consultations.
• Disperse and report outcomes via CRM tools.
• Meet minimum sales targets set by leadership.
