Sunrun Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Field Sales Consultant who self-generates leads and delivers in-home presentations for solar products.

You’ll connect with homeowners to qualify solar as a viable energy solution for their home and family, expanding Sunrun’s residential energy footprint. This role requires travel within the local market, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and strong communication skills to build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional partnership.
• Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours (evenings/weekends).
• Comfort with technology and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Provide an industry-leading in-home sales experience from contact to install.
• Conduct in-home presentations evaluating customer needs and building relationships.
• Manage pipeline from prospect to install and report outcomes via CRM.
• Meet sales targets set by leadership.
