Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant who self-generates leads and presents in-home solar products and services to potential customers.

You will connect with homeowners, qualify interest and determine fit for solar as a viable solution for their home and family, in the local market. Ideal candidates have 1 year of sales/lead generation experience, are 21+, with a valid license, and are comfortable traveling locally.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales/lead generation experience (in-home sales preferred).
• Must be 21+, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass driving background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Able to use an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer’s system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
