Job summary

ADT is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a secure, connected home. You will combine hands-on installation with consultative sales, helping customers understand how security, IoT devices, and smart home products work together.

You will activate systems, educate customers on the app and features, and ensure solutions fit their needs. You will deliver in-home consultations, recommend solutions, install hardware, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with smart device ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Identify upsell opportunities that strengthen home protection.
