ADT Security Services is hiring a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing secure, integrated home setups. You will perform in-home consultations, install and activate security devices, and educate customers on app features, while tailoring solutions to each home’s unique needs.

The role blends hands-on installation with consultative sales, offers a path for long-term customer relationships, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong customer-focused communication and technical aptitude.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot smart home devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Identify upsell opportunities to strengthen home protection.
