Powerback Rehabilitation in Woburn, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home and outpatient rehabilitation for older adults across assisted living and community settings. Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care conferences as a representative of physical therapy, under the direction of the PT.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement programs for each patient's needs and capabilities.
• Assists the PT when performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and families in PT techniques under the supervision of the PT.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, and reports repairs for equipment as needed.
• Delivers patient-centered care and supports power-back goals in home settings.
• Implements individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and functional activities.
