Powerback Rehabilitation, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation to older adults. You will work under a licensed PT, delivering functional therapy in patients' homes or in independent living facilities, with a flexible schedule and supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings under the supervision of the licensed physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules; maintains timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Acts as an assistant to the physical therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Educates patients and families in skills and techniques of the treatment program.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Maintains equipment and reports needs for repair.
• Prioritizes patient service in a compassionate environment and follows the prescribed treatment plan.
• Delivers physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and functional training, and manual therapy.
