Job summary

Powerback is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults. The role focuses on functional improvement in home environments, under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

You will contribute to tailored treatment plans, perform therapeutic exercises, and collaborate with the rehab team across various patient settings, ensuring high-quality compassionate care and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care conferences as a representative of physical therapy.
• Adheres to department and treatment schedules; complete timely documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Assists Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in therapy techniques under supervision.
• Maintains accurate documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment; reports repairs as needed.
• Prioritizes patient service with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Executes individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Performs related duties as required.
