Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation in home settings for older adults. You will evaluate and treat patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, while promoting independence and functional improvements.

The role offers a flexible schedule across various in-home settings, with emphasis on patient-centered care, documentation, and collaboration with the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Evaluate and treat patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning in functional environments.
• Maintain timely documentation for all patients treated and coordinate care with the rehabilitation team.
• Instruct patients and families in PT treatment programs and home exercise plans.
• Maintain equipment and report needs for repair when necessary.
