Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient home-based rehab focused on older adults. You will perform PT techniques in patients' homes or independent living settings under a PT's supervision, delivering tailored treatments to improve independence and function.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to patient care and team meetings under the supervision of the physical therapist.
• Maintain adherence to treatment schedules and complete clinical and billing documentation on time.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement patient-focused programs.
• Assist the physical therapist during tests, evaluations, and procedures.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintain timely documentation for all treated patients.
• Operate and report on equipment maintenance and needed repairs.
• Put patient service first and deliver compassionate care.
• Implement each patient's individualized treatment plan.
• Provide therapies including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, and neuromuscular/strength training.
• Perform related duties as required.
