Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in home-based and facility settings throughout Amherst, MA. Under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and progress older adult patients in their homes or in independent living facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Aufgaben

• Attends and contributes to patient care discussions and care conferences as the PTA representative.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to implement patient-specific programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation for all patients.
• Cleans, maintains, and reports equipment needs and repairs.
• Prioritizes patient-centered service and compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Provides targeted therapies including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, and wellness activities.
• Performs other related duties as required.
