Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver outpatient rehabilitation services in patients' homes or in living facilities. You will work under a licensed PT to enhance independence and functional outcomes for older adults in a flexible, home-based environment.

Qualified candidates hold a PTA license, a valid driver's license or reliable transportation, and will participate in a supportive mentorship program with continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the applicable state(s).
Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

Attend and contribute to patient care and care team meetings.
Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules; document promptly and accurately.
Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement individualized plans.
Act as assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests and procedures.
Instruct patients and caregivers in home-based therapy techniques.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all patients.
