Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults across the United States. The position offers a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings, with the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, documenting care, and collaborating with the rehab team to implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from patients’ residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy, under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Maintains adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.
• Works with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when tests, evaluations, and complex procedures are performed.
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program.
• Maintains appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
