Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation, LLC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation in in-home settings for older adults. The position supports care in private residences or independent living facilities, enabling functional independence in daily living activities.

The role offers a flexible schedule across diverse settings, a Clinical Mentorship Program, free CEUs through Medbridge, and opportunities for visa sponsorship and relocation assistance to support travel

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transport to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and meetings as a representative of physical therapy, under the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules, with timely documentation and meetings.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement programs suited to each patient.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Performs related duties as required.
