Job summary

Pottery Barn, a Williams-Sonoma brand, seeks a Design Associate to help clients enhance living spaces through in-store and in-home consultations. You will combine design expertise with client preferences to form tailored plans and presentations.

Role requires space measurement, knowledge of current promotions, and delivering world-class service, including gift wrap, registry support, and special/furniture orders. Retail design experience and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and clienteling skills to engage customers.
• Ability to follow up with clients and drive sales.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one store and in-home consultations to design living spaces.
• Accurately measure and assess client spaces for design plans.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and space.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Provide world-class service including gift wrap, registry, special orders, and furniture orders.
