Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and close sales through tailored design consultations in-store and at clients’ homes.

You will present design plans, leverage product knowledge, and promote continued engagement with the Williams-Sonoma brands, including Pottery Barn. Full-time associates are encouraged to open availability and deliver world‑class service.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet sales goals.
• Experience in customer service or retail sales.
• Ability to assist clients one-on-one and in-home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in the store and in-home regarding the design of their living spaces to drive store sales.
• Perform productive in-home consultations including the ability to accurately measure and assess the client's living space.
• Create and present design plans based on client's needs, style, preferences and living space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals.
• Utilize exemplary World class service standards to assist customers with gift wrap, gift registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of the entire design studio assortment.
