Job summary

The Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Design Studio Specialist at Pottery Barn Kids in Corte Madera, CA inspires customers to express themselves at home, guiding them to a seamless sale at the cash wrap and encouraging ongoing brand engagement.

You will bring design expertise to client consultations, measure spaces, create tailored design plans, and showcase current promotions to achieve sales and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within multiple sales channels.
• Experience in working with design elements preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience; specialty retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients one-on-one in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Conduct in-home consultations including measuring and space assessment.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to meet sales goals.
• Provide services such as gift wrap, registry, special orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
