Job summary

Verbal Beginnings, based in Ashburn, VA, seeks a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism. You will work one-on-one in clients' homes, under BCBA supervision, to implement individualized treatment plans and help children communicate, build independence, and learn daily living skills.

This role offers flexible after-school hours, travel to clients' homes, thorough training, supervision, and tuition assistance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid driver license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (required for in-home travel).
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism reach their goals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team.
• Preferred:Bachelor's Degree (in progress) and 6+ months of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a home-based setting.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data to track progress and inform treatment updates.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to ensure consistency and carry-over of skills.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
