Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC is seeking a part‑time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to implement ABA programs in in‑home and center settings under the supervision of a BCBA.

The role requires working with children with ASD and developmental disabilities, collecting data, and following individualized treatment plans. Travel to client homes or centers may be required; a background check is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
• RBT certification preferred; must be obtained within 90 days if applicable.
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or centers.
• Background checks required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and sit on the floor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision of BCBA.
• Record and maintain accurate data on client progress.
• Implement skill acquisition programs across communication, social, adaptive, and academic areas.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments.
• Provide reinforcement, prompting, and other ABA techniques as per the treatment plan.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
