Job summary

Verbal Beginnings, LLC is seeking experienced Behavior Technicians (BT) or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for in-home ABA therapy in the United States. The role involves working with children with autism in their homes, schools, and communities under BCBA supervision.

Part-time schedules typically 2–5 days per week, with sessions generally 2–4 hours between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Compensation ranges from $20 to $29 per hour, based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (required for in-home travel).
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism reach their goals.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team.
• RBT coursework and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire; support provided to complete this process.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a home-based setting.
• Implement individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record precise data to track each child's progress and inform updates.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and the family to ensure consistency of skills at home.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.

Education
