Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver in-home ABA therapy to children in their homes, schools, and communities. You will work under a BCBA to implement personalized treatment plans and collect data to demonstrate progress.

This part-time role offers flexible daytime, afternoon, and evening hours, with opportunities for RBT certification sponsorship, supervision hours, and continuing education through VBU.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for in-home travel.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
• Bachelor’s Degree or in progress preferred.
• 6+ months of experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a home-based setting.
• Implement ABA treatment plans designed by supervising BCBA to address each child’s goals.
• Record and track precise data to monitor progress and inform treatment updates.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to ensure consistency and carryover of skills.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
