Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for our in-home program, delivering one-on-one ABA therapy in the child’s natural environment under BCBA supervision.

This part-time role offers afternoons/evenings, client travel, data collection, and collaboration with families to reinforce skills. Training, supervision hours, and growth opportunities are provided across Verbal Beginnings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (required for in-home travel)
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism reach their goals
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team
• Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress)
• 6+ months of experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a naturalistic, home-based setting
• Implement individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA to address each child's unique goals
• Collect and record precise data to track each child's progress and inform ongoing treatment updates
• Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and the child's family to ensure consistency and carry-over of skills in the home environment
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
