Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is hiring a Behavior Technician or RBT for its in-home program, working one-on-one with children in their homes under BCBA supervision. You'll implement evidence-based ABA plans to improve communication, behavior, feeding, and daily living skills, while collecting progress data and coordinating with families.

This part-time role offers flexible afternoons and evenings, travel to client homes, and opportunities to pursue RBT certification with company support, plus tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (required for in-home travel).
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism reach their goals.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team.
• Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress).
• 6+ months of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a home-based setting.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA to address each child's unique goals.
• Collect and record precise data to track each child's progress and inform ongoing treatment updates.
• Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and the child's family to ensure consistency and carry-over of skills in the home environment.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
