Job summary

Verbal Beginnings, LLC is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home ABA therapy with children who have autism. This field-based role delivers one-on-one sessions under BCBA supervision in the child’s natural environment.

Part-time schedule is typically 2–5 days per week, with sessions lasting 2–4 hours. Compensation ranges from $20 to $29 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (required for in-home travel).
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team.
• Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress).
• 6+ months of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a home-based setting.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record precise data to track each child's progress.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family to ensure consistency at home.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
