Job summary

MODE Global is seeking an Import Coordinator to support the import traffic function, dispatch carriers, track shipments, deliver customer reports, and handle invoicing.

You will need strong organizational and communication skills, 2–3 years in customer service, and the ability to learn fast in a busy logistics setting. Proficiency with Windows, MS Excel/Word, Outlook, Descartes, and browsers is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in front-line customer service.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in International Business preferred.
• Highly organized with quick ramp-up.
• Quick learner, multi-tasker, detail-oriented.
• Strong customer service and communication in fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing own work and meeting deadlines.
• Able to problem-solve and prioritize.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team.
• Proficient with Windows, MS Excel/Word, Outlook, and browsers.

Responsibilities

• Support Import Department in all Import Traffic activities.
• Handle day-to-day transportation cycle; contact drivers for status.
• Execute shipments, customer reporting, tracking and billing.
• Understand customs and freight releases and escalation contacts.
• Update customer records via Descartes OS, ensuring data integrity.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
