Ascendo-Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Traffic Coordinator to manage export shipments from booking through vessel loading and sailing. The role ensures cargo, documentation, and operational requirements are completed accurately and on time.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics or transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments from booking confirmation through vessel departure.
• Monitor terminal, documentation, VGM, DG, and special cargo cut-offs.
• Review Shipping Instructions and prepare draft and final Bills of Lading.
• Verify shipment details, including routing, vessel/voyage, cargo information, weights, container, and seal numbers.
• Prepare export manifests, cargo declarations, and special cargo documentation as required.
• Coordinate with terminals, port agents, vessel operations, customers, and freight forwarders.
• Monitor cargo receiving and loading status and resolve terminal or vessel exceptions.
• Manage rollovers, late gates, documentation discrepancies, and other shipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with customs, SOLAS/VGM, port, and internal documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update operational systems.
• Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams regarding cut-offs, delays, documentation, and corrective actions.
