Job summary

JD Power is seeking an Implementation Specialist II to lead complex software implementation projects for new and existing customers. You will be the primary consultant driving onboarding, configuration, training, adoption, and customer readiness while managing multiple projects.

This independent, SME-level role involves mentoring junior team members, collaborating with Support, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to resolve issues, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software implementation or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple customer-facing projects concurrently.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% for onsite engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and customer handoff.
• Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects while maintaining quality and timeline commitments.
• Serve as the primary customer advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Configure software solutions based on customer requirements and business objectives.
• Independently deliver virtual and onsite training programs.
• Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Support, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.
• Mentor and support Implementation Specialist I team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products and implementation processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and team development initiatives.
