Job summary

JD Power is seeking an Implementation Specialist II to lead complex software implementations for new and existing customers. You will manage projects from kickoff to go-live, configure solutions, and deliver training to ensure customer readiness and adoption.

This remote, full-time role requires 3–5 years of software implementation experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 90% for onsite work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of software implementation, onboarding, project management, training, or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple customer-facing projects simultaneously.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Up to 90% travel for onsite implementations, customer meetings, or company events.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and customer handoff.
• Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects while maintaining quality and timeline commitments.
• Serve as the primary customer advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Configure software solutions based on customer requirements and business objectives.
• Independently deliver virtual and onsite training programs.
• Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Support, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.
• Mentor and support Implementation Specialist I team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products and implementation processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and team development initiatives.
