Job summary

JD Power is seeking an Implementation Specialist II to lead complex software implementations remotely in the USA. You will drive onboarding, configuration, training, adoption, and customer readiness across multiple projects, acting as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior colleagues.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, deliver training, and ensure successful go-lives while maintaining high customer satisfaction and adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software implementation, onboarding, project management, training, or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple customer-facing projects concurrently.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and customer handoff.
• Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects while maintaining quality and timeline commitments.
• Serve as the primary customer advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Configure software solutions based on customer requirements and business objectives.
• Independently deliver virtual and onsite training programs.
• Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Support, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.
• Mentor and support Implementation Specialist I team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products and implementation processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and team development initiatives.
