Creative Risk Solutions is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to join our team. You will handle and resolve lost-time WC claims, liaise with insureds and insurers, and ensure accurate, timely data entry and settlements while pursuing licensing where needed.

Qualifikationen

• Education includes high school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of claims experience with a strong background in workers' compensation.
• Active state workers' compensation license required or ability to acquire within 3 months.
• Proficient knowledge of WC insurance coverage and claims processing procedures.
• Ability to adjudicate lost-time claims across jurisdictions; quick learner of software.

Aufgaben

• Receives, gathers, and transmits workers' comp information from insureds, claimants, and staff.
• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves lost-time workers' compensation claims, including litigated claims.
• Mediates between insured and insurer; researches coverage issues as needed.
• Enters and maintains accurate claim data in the system, including settlements.
• Generates checks for indemnity and medical payments daily.
• Develops and monitors consistency in CRS claims handling procedures.
• Willingness to become licensed if required in jurisdictions handled.
