Job summary

Creative Risk Solutions seeks a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to support our clients with expert WC claims handling. You will gather information, process claims, and coordinate with insurers to resolve lost time cases efficiently.

Key requirements include 3–5 years WC claims experience, an active WC license or ability to obtain within 3 months, and a readiness to learn multiple software systems in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Active state workers' compensation license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 3–5 years of claims experience with WC focus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, gathers and transmits workers' compensation information in a timely manner.
• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves lost time WC claims, including litigated claims.
• Mediates between insured and insurance company, researching coverage issues.
• Enters and maintains accurate information on the claim system, including final settlements.
• Generates checks for indemnity and medical payments daily.
• Develops and monitors consistency in claims handling procedures within CRS.
• Willingness to become licensed if required in the jurisdiction.
