Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist to support Creative Risk Solutions remotely across AZ, CO, WV and SD. The role focuses on timely information transmission, investigation of lost time claims, and accurate documentation to ensure efficient settlements.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in claims handling, a solid understanding of WC coverage, and a willingness to become licensed in required jurisdictions within three months.

Qualifications

• Experience with workers’ compensation claims handling.
• Ability to adjudicate lost time claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation coverage and claims procedures.
• Willingness to obtain required state licenses within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives, gathers and transmits workers’ compensation information to CRS promptly.
• Investigates, evaluates and resolves lost time workers’ compensation claims, including litigated ones.
• Mediates between insured and insurer, researching coverage issues as needed.
• Enters and maintains accurate information on the claim system, including final settlements.
• Generates checks for indemnity and medical payments daily.
