Creative Risk Solutions (CRS) is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on handling and resolving lost time claims, transmitting information with precision, and maintaining rigorous claims data across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years claims experience with strong background in Workers' Compensation claims handling.
• Active state specific Workers' Compensation License required or ability to acquire within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance coverage and claims processing procedures.
• Ability to adjudicate lost time claims across multiple jurisdictions and learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receives, gathers and transmits workers' compensation information from insureds, claimants and staff in a timely manner.
• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves lost time workers' compensation claims, including litigated ones.
• Mediates between insured and insurance company with minimal leadership support; researches coverage issues.
• Enters and maintains accurate information in the claims system, including final settlement details.
• Generates checks for indemnity and medical payments daily.
• Develops and monitors consistency in CRS' claims handling processes.
