American Red Cross seeks a Telesales Specialist to sell training registrations and Red Cross Store products to individuals and small businesses. You’ll use consultative selling to match customer needs with courses and products, process orders, and document interactions in Salesforce.

The role emphasizes inbound calls, revenue targets, and a commission plan tied to performance with a target hourly rate of $16.15. Office-based in Kansas City area, with location-specific compensation.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; higher education a plus.
• 1 year of sales experience in a call center; B2C not required.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple systems and channels.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound calls from customers interested in training courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and product needs.
• Recommend and sell courses and Store products based on customer needs.
• Process credit card transactions and place orders in Sales systems.
• Document and update cases with required call information in Salesforce.
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges, or cancellations per policy.
• Answer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Achieve Training revenue of $325K and Retail revenue of $80K per year.
