Job summary

The American Red Cross in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Telesales Specialist to drive registrations for community training and Red Cross Store products. You will handle inbound calls, assess customer needs, and recommend the best course or product while processing orders and payments.

You’ll contribute to revenue goals, work in a fast-paced call center environment, and leverage Salesforce and MS Office. The role offers an hourly wage with commission-based incentives and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience within a Call Center.
• Ability to effectively multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training or Red Cross Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and retail product needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Process credit card transactions and place orders in Sales systems.
• Accurately document and update cases with required call information in Salesforce.
• Upsell Red Cross Store retail products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations following established policies.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Aiming to achieve Training revenue of $325K/year and Retail revenue of $80K/year.
