Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is hiring a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens for newborns in hospital settings and educate families on the importance of early intervention.

The role includes data collection, documentation, and coordination with site leadership to ensure timely follow-up and reports. On-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on importance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation for each baby.
• Coordinate with site supervisor on missed or refer babies and scheduling.
