Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing loss and educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Evaluate baby readiness for screening and ensure reliable results.
• Collect data and demographics, perform screens, and document all results per protocol.
• Provide care and education to families during screening and follow-up.
• Upload screen results and billing/state reporting by the end of each shift; reconcile statistics.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and schedule outpatient follow-ups when needed.
• Follow PPE, safety policies, and hospital orientations; maintain confidentiality and teamwork.
