Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens for newborns in hospital settings. You will be trained on the job and obtain annual certification through the American Academy of Audiology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required or obtained upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of newborn hearing screening.
• Document data and screening results accurately per protocol.
• Upload results and reporting by end of each shift.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred cases and arrange follow-ups.
