Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns and educate families on early intervention. On-the-job training includes annual American Academy of Audiology–accredited certification, enabling you to contribute to early detection in a supportive team.

You will screen in hospital settings, collect data, ensure accurate documentation, and coordinate follow-up for refer babies while upholding safety,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or obtained upon offer.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing at hospital sites.
• Provide education to parents on screening importance.
• Ensure data collection and documentation.
• Meet PPE and vaccination policies.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer babies.
